Posted by Learning about human anatomy can be fun for young children. These are some resources my son received as gifts and has been enjoying them especially this Melissa and Doug magnetic human body and is learning basics about the different body systems. We have been reading through the “The Magic School Bus- Inside the Human Body” and this has been interesting for him. Some parts about human physiology are still a little too advanced for him but he gets the basic idea on how things work like germs, how we get sick and how to get better etc.
There is a DVD on “Inside the Human Body” from the Magic School Bus as well which he enjoyed watching and has repeated some of the concepts from there as well. We will be working on the “My First Human Body Book” which is mostly a coloring book.
