Shape Designs

I’m always in search of finding activities that are simple to make for either learning new skills, working and reinforcing other skills or just to simply keep a toddler entertained. In this activity I cut various colored construction paper with textured scissors in different shapes.  My son then had to come up with a design and glue the pieces on construction paper.  This required creativity in coming up with different ideas on what to make. Using the glue bottle also kept him busy as he tried making different designs with the glue itself.
