Math and Critical Thinking Resources

I’ve been exploring new mathematical concepts and ideas for manipulatives to go with these applications. I’ve found new vocabulary math words to introduce with math like (fewer, less than, least, most, etc). I like this math book and its series that starts for 3 yrs old beginners.

The authors teach proper nomenclature from the beginning. For example, they use the term “line segment” rather than “line” and the term “numeral” rather than “number” even in the preschool books.

Another resource that has been helpful with building critical thinking skills has been “Building Thinking Skills”.  Its a good overview for many subjects like reading, math, writing, and science. Some pages have definitely been a bit more advanced for my 3 yr old and I see this will be a good resource as he gets older.
