Posted by In this activity we practiced math hands-on by creating shapes from colored popsicle sticks. I had a sheet on the side with the different shapes as examples.
We also worked on writing hands-on by creating letters from rocks. Working on the letters of a child’s name as the first letters to practice gives more meaning to the child as these will be the letters they will become familiar and have more meaning.
